Describe Yourself:
I am a 53 year old married woman with adult stepchildren and I would not consider myself traditional but surely not a ultra-liberal either in my views, dress, or morals. A suburban NY transplant to a smallish city in Placer County, CA.
I am currently in cancer treatment and had a modified radical mascetomy in February with four out nineteen positive nodes. My two tiers of chemotherapy are complete and will begin five weeks of daily radiation sometime in early August.
Part of my healing journey has inspired to write about my experiences and other people's stories as well. My plan is to start a local support group at my church, too as too many of us are effected by this dis-ease called breast cancer.
